I have been working out pretty regularly since school started. Circuit training at least once each week and working out to exercisetv onDemand. I am happy and feeling very healthy (save for the cold I have right now).

Hmmm...can I remember what I did?
May 18 - Zumba
May 20 - Circuit training
May 23 - 4 mile walk with SIL
May 27 - Circuit training
June 1 - Circuit training
June 3 - Circuit training
June 7 - 5K Wak for the Cure in Seattle

Many other days - working out at home. I am still having a problem with portion control and eating. Huge problem. :\

That's all I can remember. I was really good for a while there. Gotta get back to it.

Wed. Mar 11 - Circuit training class
Fri. Mar 13 - met with a personal trainer to get a new programme set up for me. Of course it is called "lunge circuit". I hate, hate, hate lunges. Anyway, I plan to do this every Friday.

I met with a personal trainer today for a free fitness assessment. He teaches the circuit training class that I take on Wednesdays. The assessment consisted of a strength test, a flexibility test, measuring blood pressure, weight, and a body fat analysis.

The body fat analysis uses a machine that sends electric currents through your body. You are supposed to be well-hydrated to make it work well. I drank plenty of water last night and today and I thought I was ready for the results. The standard BMI calculators have put my body fat at 26% which puts me "just" over the 20-25"healthy" range. However, this electronic body fat analysis put my body fat at 28.7% which is just 1.3% away from OBESE!! So, I need to work harder here, people!

On a positive note, my strength is good (one bench press away from "excellent" - had to stop because my arms went numb). My flexibility is good but can be improved.

Now I need to figure out if I want to spend the $$ to have the trainer set up a program for me (of course this is the whole point of the "free" assessment).

Wed Mar 4 - circuit training
Fri Mar 6 - walked 1 mile in high heels on "date night" with Stephen
Mon Mar 9 - circuit training
